  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned pharmaceutical congresses and client stakeholders.
  • Manage day-to-day planning and execution of congress activities to ensure successful events.
  • Build project timelines and coordinate schedules with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Coordinate speaker logistics, registrations, travel arrangements, and event materials.
  • Manage vendor, hotel, venue, and third-party supplier relationships and contracts.
  • Lead regular client meetings and provide updates on program status, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Develop event agendas, itineraries, and operational plans to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Track program budgets, expenses, forecasts, and billing to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all activities meet client standards and compliance requirements.
  • Evaluate event results, gather feedback, and recommend improvements for future congresses.
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the meetings and events industry.
  • Experience supporting pharmaceutical programs, events, and congresses required; pharmaceutical congress planning experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) certification a plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, vendors, and leadership teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technology skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with CVENT or similar event management technology preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.

The US national base salary range for this position is from

$55 300,00 – $102 700,00

The national range provided includes the base salary that Amex GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
