Job summary

Temple Sinai Atlanta is seeking a Congregational Engagement Manager who loves bringing people together and turning ideas into meaningful experiences. You will welcome new members, brainstorm creative programs with lay leaders, and ensure all pieces come together to create a warm, connected community.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of demonstrated experience in community engagement or related field
• Experience with member relations, programming, events, or hospitality
• Knowledge of nonprofit work and community building

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and building relationships with prospective and new members
• Help members discover groups, programs, and opportunities that match their interests
• Create pathways for connection around life stages and volunteerism
• Coordinate with colleagues to create a personal, welcoming member experience
• Develop new ways to strengthen relationships and deepen connection to Temple Sinai
• Shape and deliver programs that help people participate, connect, celebrate, learn, and build relationships
• Partner with affinity groups, committees, and lay leaders to design relevant programs
• Turn ideas into plans and successful experiences
