The position offers a 40-hour hybrid schedule with occasional evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be a practicing Roman Catholic with knowledge of Catholic teachings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and database tools.
• Ability to coordinate volunteers across ministries.
• Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
• Employment is contingent upon background and Safe Environment Training.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for parishioners seeking information or involvement.
• Create clear, accessible communication about ministries, programs, and engagement opportunities.
• Collaborate with staff to produce newsletters, announcements, and digital updates related to parishioner involvement.
• Organize quarterly stewardship fairs.
• Organize annual volunteer thank you event.
• Develop and manage welcoming systems for new parishioners and promote engagement pathways.
• Ensure timely communications and next-step opportunities for newcomers.
• Maintain warm presence at major parish events and coordinate with community renters.
• Recruit, train, and support volunteers for hospitality, outreach, and engagement ministries.
• Lead hospitality and community ministries planning, scheduling, and communications.
• Match parishioners with service opportunities and track participation.
• Maintain church management software with accurate membership and engagement data.
• Prepare reports on engagement trends and donor participation.
