Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. is seeking a coating operator to prep boards for conformal coating and apply coatings using dispensing equipment. You will clean surfaces, mask connectors and use various hand tools in a fast-paced production setting.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of manufacturing experience. Good English, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of industrial ovens, scales and basic meters for data recording.
• Experience with two-part epoxies and related chemicals.
• Able to read and interpret printed circuit board assembly drawings and work instructions.
• Must pass annual eye exam; vision requirements are enforced.
• Ability to work up to 10 hours daily, 5 days a week, with potential weekend shifts.
• Willing to lift up to 25 lbs and maintain good manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare boards for conformal coat by cleaning surfaces to be finished.
• Mask connectors and objects on boards; use hand, pneumatic and electric tools.
• Mix chemicals per manufacturer specs and apply epoxy/conformal coatings.
• Inspect work-in-process for defects and adjust as needed.
• Follow blueprints and work instructions; communicate with supervisors.
• Maintain a clean work area and comply with ITAR/Export rules.
