Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems is seeking a PCBA Conformal Coating Technician at our Electronics Manufacturing Facility in Huntsville, AL to apply conformal coating on PCBA assemblies for military and SPACE applications. You will run conformal coating dispense equipment, mask PCBA before coating, and inspect under UV light and magnification.

Requirements include a High School diploma and 1–3 years in manufacturing, ability to work in a team, and eligibility for Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

• HighSchool Diploma/GED with 1-3 years of prior relevant work experience.
• Applicants must be able to work with teams.
• 1 year experience working in industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Run automatic conformal coating dispense equipment to apply coating on PCBA’s.
• Mask PCBA’s prior to conformal coating and remove masking after coating.
• Inspect coated PCBA’s under UV light after coating.
• Inspect completed PCBA’s under mag-light and/or microscope with black light.
• Meet day-to-day objectives and contribute to output.
• Work in a team environment with cross-functional groups.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
