Friedman Williams, a leading Dallas law firm, is seeking a Client Intake Specialist to join its Conflicts & New Business Intake team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional with 3–5+ years of law firm conflicts and/or new business intake experience.

Qualifications

3–5+ years of law firm conflicts and/or new business intake experience.
Strong experience conducting and analyzing conflict searches.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Conduct conflict of interest searches for new business and potential lateral hires.
Analyze conflict results and communicate findings and recommendations to attorneys.
Process new business intake requests and assist with opening new clients and matters.
Maintain accurate client, matter, billing, and contact information.
Create and maintain matter numbers and administrative workspaces.
Respond to questions from attorneys, legal assistants, and firm personnel regarding conflicts and intake.
Work with Records on matter closures, transfers, and file destruction.
Monitor and close matters in accordance with firm procedures.
Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the firm’s conflicts database.
Handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion.
Assist with department projects and initiatives as needed.
