Job summary

Troutman Pepper Locke LLP is seeking a Conflicts Data Analyst to maintain and enrich the firm’s conflicts databases, focusing on corporate tree structures and entity relationships. You will monitor M&A activity and link parent-subsidiary clients to ensure accurate entity mapping across systems.

The role requires 3+ years in corporate research, strong data discipline, and collaboration with Finance and Firm Intelligence in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of experience in corporate research, identifying affiliate relationships, data monitoring, and/or database maintenance.
• Strong proficiency in research tools and online databases.
• Experience in a law firm, legal research, or library environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with corporate structures, affiliates, and Global Ultimate Owners is beneficial.
• Knowledge of M&A transactions and related corporate activity is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update conflicts database records with a focus on corporate tree information and entity mapping.
• Research and link parent and child company clients within the conflicts database to ensure accurate relationships.
• Monitor mergers, acquisitions, and corporate transactions from multiple sources and update data accordingly.
• Collaborate with ICS and other departments to resolve data discrepancies and ensure data consistency.
• Support quality control reviews and cross-functional data alignment across systems.
