Job summary

Holland & Knight seeks a Conflicts Specialist to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The role involves running conflict reports, preparing conflict summaries, and providing turnaround summaries to attorneys in a timely manner.

Based in our Tampa global operations center or at the Dallas office, you will review memos, search the conflicts database, and ensure accuracy in all summaries while training Conflicts Clerks as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; JD preferred.
• 0–3 years of legal experience, preferably in a large law firm conflicts team.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Strong discretion when escalating issues and handling confidential data.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.
• Strong research, computer, and database skills; ability to train others.

Responsibilities

• Review new matter memos for accuracy and completeness.
• Search the firm's conflicts database for relevant parties.
• Review conflict of interest reports and prepare summaries.
• Provide summaries to requesting attorneys and answer questions.
• Adhere to firm policies related to searching and reporting.
• Keep shared documents current and accurate.
• Assist with training Conflicts Clerks and mentor staff.
• Handle special projects and other duties as assigned.
