Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 2 years of experience in a law firm conflicts, new business intake, or professional responsibility.
• Strong analytical skills and sound business judgment for evaluating legal relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain conflicts issues and next steps.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to work independently and with lawyers and business professionals at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Conduct corporate and other due diligence on prospective and existing clients.
• Perform conflicts searches and process new business intake requests.
• Review results and escalate complex issues; facilitate conflicts clearance.
• Communicate results to stakeholders and obtain information for clearance.
• Assist in drafting conflict waivers, consent letters, and engagement letters.
