Responsibilities

• Review and analyze new business intake materials to identify conflicts of interest, ensuring compliance with firm policies.
• Utilize internal and external databases; communicate with firm lawyers regarding clients and new business.
• Draft and review conflict waivers and related documentation.
• Coordinate with the Chief Risk Officer on complex conflict issues.
• Review outside counsel guidelines; resolve potential conflicts.
• Respond to attorney inquiries regarding conflicts and policies.
• Maintain accurate conflict resolution records.
• Investigate and correct conflicts database data.
• Develop knowledge of legal ethics and conflict rules.

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient with technology; able to work independently and collaboratively.
• J.D. degree; licensed in CA, OR, WA, AZ, CO, UT, GA, TN, or IL.
• Minimum 2 years of legal practice or ethics conflicts team experience.
