Job summary

Matura Farrington is seeking a Conflicts Analyst in Los Angeles to support research, clearance, and matter openings within a leading law firm. You will conduct conflicts research, assist with new business intake, and maintain the conflicts database, collaborating with attorneys and staff to ensure efficient clearance and compliance.

Candidates should have strong writing, analytical, and organizational skills, and a bachelor’s degree; large-law-firm experience is preferred.

Conflicts Analyst – Los Angeles | Up to $90K

We’re working with a leading law firm seeking a Conflicts Analyst to join its Los Angeles team. This is a great opportunity for someone with 2+ years of conflicts, new business intake, legal research, or related large-law-firm experience who wants to continue building their career within a sophisticated conflicts function.

The role will focus on conflicts research and clearance, new business intake, lateral hire reviews, corporate/affiliate research, matter opening, and database maintenance. You’ll work closely with attorneys and other firm professionals to identify potential conflicts, research complex party relationships, and help ensure new matters and hires move through the clearance process efficiently.

Strong research, writing, analytical, and organizational skills are essential. Large law firm experience is preferred, particularly within conflicts or in a paralegal-related capacity. A bachelor’s degree and experience with conflicts management technology are also preferred.

Compensation: Up to $90K for candidates with at least two years of relevant experience

Schedule: one day per week in the office

Additional: Some rotating evening/weekend on-call availability
