Conflicts Analyst (Remote – MUST BE CALIFORNIA Based)

Location: Remote (Must reside near Orange County, Los Angeles, or San Francisco, CA)

Compensation: Up to $100,000

Our client is hiring a Conflicts Resolution Analyst to join a leading global legal team. This is a remote role (Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM PT), but candidates must reside near a local office in California (Orange County, Los Angeles, or San Francisco).

This role plays a key part in supporting firmwide conflict resolution by evaluating new business intake, identifying and analyzing potential conflicts of interest, and collaborating closely with attorneys, conflicts leadership, and the risk team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze conflicts reports and communicate critical issues directly with attorneys and partners
• Conduct conflicts research and review intake requests
• Draft and review waivers, engagement letters, and other documents to support resolution
• Escalate potential issues to leadership as appropriate
• Support department process improvements and assist in training peers
• Contribute to firmwide compliance, ethics, and risk initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

• JD required
• 3–4 years of conflicts experience at a law firm
• Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Ability to synthesize complex legal data into clear, actionable outcomes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; knowledge of Intapp, Aderant, or similar platforms is a plus
• Must be collaborative, organized, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
