Key Responsibilities

• Conduct corporate and entity research using databases and public resources to determine affiliations, parent companies, and related entities.
• Run and review conflict searches using the firm’s internal system for new clients, matters, and lateral hires.
• Evaluate search results and prepare clear, concise reports summarizing potential issues for attorney review.
• Assist with conflict resolution under the guidance of the Conflicts Manager or Director.
• Maintain and update client and matter data within the firm’s systems to ensure accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with attorneys, team members, and firm leadership to provide information and guidance regarding the conflicts process.
• Support other department projects and administrative needs as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, with coursework or knowledge in legal studies, business, or risk management.
• 3–5 years of experience in a law firm conflicts or business intake department.
• Familiarity with conflicts software such as Intapp or similar systems preferred.
• Understanding of legal ethics and professional responsibility rules.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage tasks independently while collaborating within a team environment.
• Strong commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and client service.
