Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Conflict Management Analyst in Arizona to oversee the firm's conflict checks and risk assessment processes.

The role includes processing daily checks, maintaining data integrity, and training new team members, with a strong emphasis on compliance and high-quality client intake practices.

You will work in a collaborative team and leverage tools like InTapp Open and Pacer to support timely, accurate conflict analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in conflicts analysis, client intake, AML in the legal field or related experience.
• Ability to identify and analyze complex issues (critical thinking).
• Strong research skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
• Strong supervision and staff management skills.
• Ability to work efficiently with a high degree of accuracy.
• In depth understanding of conflict of interests and new client intake principles.
• General understanding of the legal and/or business consulting industries preferred.
• Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Acrobat).

Responsibilities

• Manage the firm’s conflict management function by ensuring timely processing of conflict checks, identification and resolution of potential risks, and alignment of new engagements with firm policies and strategies.
• Assist with day-to-day conflict check operations, including processing daily checks and overseeing the conflict queue.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing, compliance with procedures, and data integrity.
• Train new team members as responsibility increases.
• Maintain customer service standards, including 24-hour turnaround for initial conflict checks and after-hours/urgent response coverage.
• Maintain quality control over data accuracy, intake documentation, and outdated conflict-check leads.
• Perform conflict-of-interest and business-relationship analyses using a conflicts analytics tool, firm policies, independent research, Pacer, and other sources.
• Assist with other Conflict Management initiatives and duties as requested.
