Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Configurations Administrator to enter, update, and maintain customer TDPs and BOM changes with accuracy.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, converting parts lists to BOMs, and generating BOMs for solicitations while maintaining organized electronic and physical files on the network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• AS degree preferred in mechanical design, business, manufacturing technology, accounting or IS.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering documents and drawings preferred.
• Strong math and analytical skills required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain drawing and BOM packages for assigned customers.
• Generate BOMs from customer supplied parts list and print packages for new solicitations and jobs.
• Maintains organized filing system for all print packages; stores and archives electronic documents on network server.
• Initiates, monitors, and implements BOM change notifications.

Job description

The Configurations Administrator is responsible to enter, update and maintain customer’s TDPs (Technical Data Package), including all engineering requests that change the BOM (Bill of Material).

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintain drawing and BOM packages for assigned customers
• Generate BOMs from customer supplied parts list and print packages for new solicitations and jobs
• Maintains organized filing system for all print packages. Stores and archives all electronic documents on network server
• Initiates, monitors, and implements BOM change notifications
• Implements, maintains, and archives all change notices for internal and external requests including ECN (Engineering Change Notice), ECP (Engineering Change Proposal) /ECO (Engineering Change Orders), NOR (Notice of Revision) and other requested changes
• Any other task assigned by supervisor

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• AS degree in mechanical design, business, manufacturing technology, accounting or IS, preferred
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering documents and drawings, preferred
• Ability to utilize rule-based logic to convert parts lists to BOMs
• Strong mathematical skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
