Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies is seeking a Configurations Administrator to manage customer TDPs and BOMs, and to handle engineering change documentation. The role involves maintaining drawings and files, generating BOMs from customer parts lists, and coordinating change notices across internal and external requests.

The individual will ensure accurate records, facilitate BOM changes, and support project teams with orderly documentation and compliant processes.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and drawings.
• Ability to convert parts lists to BOMs using rule-based logic.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain drawing and BOM packages for assigned customers.
• Generate BOMs from customer supplied parts lists and print packages for new solicitations and jobs.
• Maintain organized filing system for all print packages; store and archive documents on network server.
• Initiate, monitor, and implement BOM change notifications.
• Implement and archive change notices (ECN/ECP/ECO/NOR) and other requested changes.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Job description

The Configurations Administrator is responsible to enter, update and maintain customer’s TDPs (Technical Data Package), including all engineering requests that change the BOM (Bill of Material).

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintain drawing and BOM packages for assigned customers
• Generate BOMs from customer supplied parts list and print packages for new solicitations and jobs
• Maintains organized filing system for all print packages. Stores and archives all electronic documents on network server
• Initiates, monitors, and implements BOM change notifications
• Implements, maintains, and archives all change notices for internal and external requests including ECN (Engineering Change Notice), ECP (Engineering Change Proposal) /ECO (Engineering Change Orders), NOR (Notice of Revision) and other requested changes
• Any other task assigned by supervisor

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• AS degree in mechanical design, business, manufacturing technology, accounting or IS, preferred
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering documents and drawings, preferredAbility to utilize rule-based logic to convert parts lists to BOMs
• Strong mathematical skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
