Job summary

Torch Technologies, located in Kettering, OH, seeks a Configuration Manager, Journeyman to support CM activities for the AFLCMC/GB program. You will manage artifacts, coordinate with CM boards, and ensure release readiness for government systems.

Responsibilities include audits, documentation integrity, and collaboration with engineers, QA, and management to maintain baselines and traceability throughout the software life cycle. Onsite work with strong security requirements.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related field and at least 3 years of experience, or 7 years with DoD certifications.
• IT Configuration Management experience within the DoD environment.
• Formal CM directives, standards, principles, and techniques knowledge.
• Experience with HW and SW configuration audits.
• Active Secret security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide CM, QA, PP, RM, and SE support across program activities.
• Maintain CM of system artifacts (documentation, source code, build files, scripts) for release readiness.
• Archive acquisition documentation and evaluate CM data deliveries for accuracy.
• Maintain CM files and implement CM plans; participate in change control boards.
• Prepare for and support major audits such as PCAs and FCAs; record findings and actions.
• Track and manage ECPs, CRs, DRs/PRs throughout the lifecycle.
