Job summary

Phoenix Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Configuration Manager to support data systems development and deployment across the lifecycle.

You will troubleshoot, analyze, and ensure proper operation of customer products and services through CM planning and control of engineering data, artifacts, storage, and retrieval repositories. The role requires familiarity with CM processes, change control, and collaboration with IT engineering teams to maintain configuration integrity and support DoD-related

Qualifications

• Associate of Science Degree in engineering or technical diplomas with at least 4 years of relevant technical experience or a non-technical Bachelor’s Degree with at least 6 years of relevant technical experience, or at least 10 years of relevant technical experience.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Experience with configuration and change management process and documentation
• Atlassian tools experience (i.e. Jira and Confluence)
• Knowledge with interpretation of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL)
• Highly proficient written and oral communication skills
• Possess the ability to gain a DoD security clearance; Must be eligible for Top Secret clearance.
• Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Describe provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits.
• Develop data management strategies; identify all sources of configuration management data.
• Develop and establish CM guidelines, best practices and standards into new CMMI configuration management processes.
• Assess the impacts of the configuration management change process on lifecycle sustainment.
• Participate in government and industry teams in the resolution of complex configuration management issues.
• Work closely with other IT engineering and operations teams in support of the software development and deployment lifecycle.
• Identify, organize, and control software and hardware configuration changes.
• Identify and coordinate processes for version management, system build, backup and recovery, archiving, and change management.
• Regulate the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software.
