Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a Business Configuration professional with ALIP expertise to configure the Accenture Life Insurance Platform for US life insurance processes, including new business, underwriting, policy administration, and claims. The role requires hands-on ALIP configuration, workflow setup, and documentation.

Responsibilities include creating test cases, conducting workshops, and producing wireframes and specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in Life Insurance domain including New Business, Underwriting, Policy Administration, Claims, Data & Reporting.
• Hands-on ALIP configuration: product setup, rules, workflows, and correspondence rules.
• Experience with ALIP web app data entry, cycles, staging jobs and troubleshooting.
• XML & XPath knowledge; proficient with MS Office tools (Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• LOMA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configure Insurance products in ALIP: parameter values, rules, and administration settings.
• Design wireframes and rules for business input and transaction processing screens.
• Lead walkthroughs, workshops, and project meetings.
• Create and maintain wireframes, business process flows, and product specifications.

HCLTech is looking for a highly talented and self- motivated Business Configuration hands on experience with configuring ALIP. Business Configuration ALIP with Accenture Life Insurance Platform. Business Configuration ALIP to join HCL Tech in advancing the technological world through innovation and creativity.

Job Description: Business Configuration- ALIP

1. Business Configuration professional experience in Domain, Insurance Package and Systems Technology and extensive experience in ALIP (Accenture Life Insurance Platform). ALIP experience is mandatory

2. Insurance Domain Skills

a. Good understanding of the Life insurance Domain – preferably worked with US Insurance Companies or Package Vendor companies on the applications / processes pertaining to New Business, Underwriting, Policy Administration, Claims, Data & Reporting, Analytics, Actuarial etc

b. Experience in Product Setup and Policy Admin System Management

c. Experience in Insurance Business Process and operations

d. Thorough understanding of Transactions and Policy Value processing

3. Insurance Vendor Package Working Experience / Skills

a. Knowledge on ALIP (Accenture Life Insurance Platform) or Navisys (Home Office & Front Office) Understanding of ALIP system

b. Experience in configuring Insurance Product - Setting up of Parameters, Values, Insurance Product/rider rules, Administration rules, Correspondence rules, State specific variation rules etc.

c. Knowledge on Transaction / Process set up - Creation of wireframes and rules to set up Business Input and Transaction processing screens, Workflow Rules

d. Hands on experience on ALIP web app – keying in Data, executing cycles, running staging jobs and troubleshoot issues

b. Thorough knowledge on MS Office tools - Visio XL, Word, Power Point

5. Experience in Test case creating and Testing

6. Documentation Experience – Creation of Wireframes, Business Process flows, functional & Product Specifications, and other project related documentations

7. Ability to conduct walkthroughs, workshops, and meetings

8. Solution evaluation, Analytical, Problem Solving and People Management skills are preferred

9. LOMA certified

Experience in:

• UI, Page Groups & Pages Schemas,
• Tags Rules
• Look up & Workflow Set up

Pay Range Minimum: 141,000k

Pay Range Maximum: 163,000k

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
