Job summary

Allianz Life's ALIP Configuration team is seeking a Business Configuration Manager to oversee the design, development and implementation of insurance product configurations within ALIP. You will lead admin system functionality for new products, rules, workflows and UI screens, coordinating across product, operations and IT to deliver scalable solutions.

You will manage a staff of direct reports, drive process improvements, and align practices with governance.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of ALIP or business configuration experience.
• 5-7 years leading IT solution delivery.
• 4-year degree in engineering, business, actuarial science, math, physics, economics or related field.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

The ALIP Configuration team within the Actuarial department is responsible for the successful implementation of critical processes and calculations in our policy administration system. As the Business Configuration Manager, you will provide oversight over the design, development and implementation of business processes within ALIP (Accenture Life Insurance & Annuity Platform) related to the configuration of insurance/annuity products. You will work across product, enterprise operations, and IT teams to ensure project success. This role will manage and continually develop a staff of direct reports to meet the evolving business needs. You will also establish and maintain a close working relationship with leaders to ensure best practices, policies, procedures and tools meet the strategic needs of the capability. You will report to the Director Product Configuration.

What you bring:

• 3-5 years of experience required: ALIP or business configuration platforms implementing enterprise solutions
• 5-7 years of experience required: Leading and directing business or IT solution delivery
• 4 year degree required: Four year degree in technical discipline, engineering, business, Actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics or related field; or equivalent experience
• You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future. This includes holders of H-1B, H4, L-1, L-2, TN, OPT, CPT, and other nonimmigrant visas.

Job posting range:

$100,000 - $150,500

Note the job posting range is exclusive of company benefits or other compensation. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive program. If you are hired, your final base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, experience, skills, competencies, and/or education. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
