Resource Management Concepts, Inc. (RMC) seeks a Configuration Manager to support Hill AFB in Ogden, Utah.

This on-site role focuses on configuration/change management, version control, system builds, backups, archiving, and change control processes. Responsibilities include updating CM plans per USAF guidance, participating in reviews and planning meetings, maintaining baselines, license management, and documenting cross-team work.

Job description

RMC is hiring a Configuration Manager to support our customer at Hill AFB in Ogden, Utah. This full-time, on-site position at Hill AFB, UT, is contingent upon contract award or position availability.

The selected applicant will assist the government in providing configuration/change management and identify, organize, and control software and hardware configuration changes. The contractor shall assist in managing and coordinating processes for version management, system build, backup and recovery, archiving, and change management. The contractor shall support and facilitate auditing, reporting, ticket and project statuses. The contractor shall be a key member in the CCB and associated projects.

Other key responsibilities include:

• Review and update CM plans periodically in accordance with USAF guidance.
• Participate in reviews, meetings, working groups and planning meetings.
• Assist in authoring internal processes to ensure consistent change management.
• Update and maintain configuration baselines across the network and associated workstations.
• Assist with Software License Management for all non-enterprise software licenses under the SLM purview.
• Document and track on-going projects between both external and internal teams and organizations.
• Assist with reviewing program-unique specifications to include system, development, and product specifications for both hardware and software, for proper format, content, and compliance with requirements and standards.

Candidates must have the following experience:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
• Knowledge of PC hardware and mobile devices
• Ability to work independently with occasional supervision
• Ability to organize, prioritize and multitask
• Ability to effectively analyze, research and solve problems
• Ability to gather data, create, compose, and edit written materials and reports
• Ability to develop and maintain recordkeeping systems and procedures.
• Familiarity with software collaboration tools (JIRA, Sharepoint, etc)

An active DoD Secret clearance is required to start. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $75,000 to $95,000 (annually).
