Description:
The Configuration Management (CM) Specialist Senior Level provides senior configuration management expertise for highly complex information systems and their associated hardware and software components. The CM Specialist leads or supervises configuration management activities, maintains allocated, functional, and physical configuration baselines throughout the system lifecycle, supports audits, and advises Configuration Control Boards (CCBs). The role evaluates engineering changes for impacts to configuration baselines and logistics support, maintains configuration records and technical documentation, and works with quality assurance and management personnel to ensure accurate, controlled, and well-documented product baselines.
