Safran Defense & Space, Inc. in Bedford, NH is seeking a Configuration Management Intern to provide administrative support to the Configuration and Improvement Group while collaborating on engaging projects.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in accredited university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.
• Demonstrated planning and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Configuration Management Analyst and Configuration Control Manager to support large administrative configuration projects requiring a high level of attention to detail and execution.
• Successfully carry out a directed plan with measured results.
• Learn how a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system supports design and manufacturing.
• Utilize multiple document management programs to facilitate content changes.
• Share files, track information and projects using Microsoft 365 Apps.
• Update documentation using Word, PDF, and Excel.
• Learn about industry standards, requirements, and their organizations.
• Learn about document control basics and their role in manufacturing and configuration management.
• Learn to analyze and recognize inconsistencies in documentation and the systems used to manage them.
• Other duties as assigned

Position Profile

The Configuration Management Intern will be responsible for the administrative support of the Configuration and Improvement Group, while also collaborating on multiple engaging projects.
