Job summary

Czinger Vehicles is seeking a Configuration Data Specialist to own product configuration, BOM accuracy, and data quality across core vehicle programs. You will align with engineering to resolve gaps, manage changes end-to-end, and support development and production of multiple models and variants.

The role emphasizes establishing robust configuration standards, driving data integrity, and implementing scalable improvements to workflows, reporting, and automation in a fast-paced, low-volume

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly understand complex products, systems, and underlying data structures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies and root causes.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced product development environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with cross-functional collaboration.
• Curiosity, adaptability, and a proactive approach to learning and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain product configuration and definition, including engineering BOMs, product structures, part and revision data, variants and options.
• Ensure data integrity by identifying and resolving incomplete definitions and data quality issues across engineering teams.
• Lead engineering change implementation, analyzing impacts and coordinating release through implementation.
• Support development and production across existing models, new variants, and future programs.
• Establish and maintain configuration management standards for BOM, product configuration, and change control.
• Drive process improvements in workflows, data quality checks, and automation to reduce manual effort and risk.
