Job summary

Science Applications International Corp. is seeking a Configuration Management Database Administrator for the PEO C4I, PMW 110 program in San Diego, CA.

The role focuses on supporting production baselines via CMPRO CMPRO PLM tool, gathering and validating data across enterprise platforms to establish or update baselines per CMP. The candidate will manage CMPRO user accounts, assist with configuration hierarchy, baselines, CSA processes, and prepare weekly/status reports.

Qualifications

• Experience in Configuration Identification, Configuration Control, Configuration Status Accounting, and Configuration Audits.
• Experience in Database Administration.
• U.S. Citizenship required; active Secret Clearance to start.

Responsibilities

• Support CM program and assist CMS in developing, reviewing and maintaining CMPRO.
• Define and maintain product structure/configuration hierarchy and baselines (Functional, Allocated, Product, As-Installed).
• Manage user accounts within CMPRO.
• Collaborate with NIWC Network Administrators to resolve system/network issues and apply updates.
• Test and integrate vendor application updates before production deployment.
• Provide CM process training to contractor and government personnel as required.
• Establish complete baselines for hardware and software and display information via CM data repository.
• Support CSA processes and procedures.
• Provide weekly status updates and monthly activity reports.

Description

The Configuration Management Database Administrator for Program Executive Office Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (PEO C4I), PMW 110 will be responsible for supporting PMW 110 programs production baselines through database administration utilizing the Project Lifecycle Management (PLM) Tool CMPRO in support of the CM implementation to support software baselines. Working across multiple business process areas, the Analyst will gather, analyze, and verify data on existing enterprise platforms, locations, hardware, software and documentation for entry into the configuration management system (CMPRO) for the establishment or update of baselines in accordance with PMW 110 Configuration Management Plan (CMP).

This role is in San Diego, CA; Must be local to area.

JOB DUTIES:

• Supporting the government's CM program and assisting the lead CMS in developing, reviewing and maintaining the PLM Tool CMPRO.
• Assisting the lead CMS with product structure/configuration hierarchy definition and maintaining configuration baselines (Functional, Allocated, Product, As-Installed).
• Manage user accounts within the PLM Tool, CMPRO.
• Work with NIWC Network Administrators to resolve system/network problems and to provide updates and bug fixes to the web site with associated CM implementation.
• Test and integrate vendor application updates prior to installation/implementation in the Production instance.
• Reviewing, updating and providing CM process training to contractor and government personnel as required.
• Establishing complete baselines for hardware and software and displaying the information via the CM data repository.
• Supporting the government's Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) process and procedures.
• Providing weekly status updates and Monthly Activity Reports.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information System, or Information Technology.
• Experience in performing Configuration Identification, Configuration Control, Configuration Status Accounting, Configuration Audits.
• Database Administration experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must have an Active Secret Clearance to start.

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Software Configuration Management experience is a plus.
• Prior experience with PMW 160 or other NAVWAR organizations.
• Familiar with the use of CMPRO, JIRA, Confluence.
• CMPIC certification is a plus.

Target salary range: $60,001 - $100,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
