Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Waco, TX seeks an Associate, Configuration Management to provide engineering support for data management and program-level configuration control. The role supports as-builts, SDRL deliveries, and related tasks under the guidance of the Senior Configuration Manager.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or have completed it within the last year, and must be willing to work a 9/80 schedule with occasional overtime to meet critical deadlines.

Qualifications

• To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.

Responsibilities

• Interface with multiple disciplines and program regularly to ensure adequate Data Management support.
• Interface with existing configuration management toolsets, to include Agile Product Data Management (PDM) including customer portal for data delivery as a minimum.
• Assist senior program Configuration Manager in performing internal audits to verify compliance with contract requirements and command media.
• Work with senior program Configuration Manager and provide suggestions for improvements to processes to improve performance of job area.
• May provide other functional support as assigned by program Configuration Manager or functional leadership.
• Ability to work overtime, on-call and/or outside of normal business hours as needed to meet critical deadlines and business requirements.
