Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Waco, TX is seeking an Associate, Configuration Management to support data consistency across programs. You will assist the Senior Configuration Manager, work with PDM tools, and coordinate data deliveries for SDRLs and as-built data.

The role requires pursuing or recently completed engineering degree and offers opportunities to interact across disciplines in a defense-focused environment, with standard 9/80 schedule and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.

Responsibilities

• Interface with multiple disciplines and program levels to ensure Data Management support while receiving limited guidance from the program Configuration Manager.
• Interface with configuration management toolsets, including Agile Product Data Management (PDM) and customer portal for data delivery as a minimum.
• Assist senior program Configuration Manager in performing internal audits to verify compliance with contract requirements and command media.
• Provide suggestions for improvement or enhancements to processes to improve performance of the job area.
• May provide other functional support as assigned by program Configuration Manager or functional leadership.
• Ability to work overtime, on-call and/or outside of normal business hours as needed to meet critical deadlines and business requirements.

Job Description

The Associate, Configuration Management is an engineering support role that performs Configuration Management functions to establish and oversee consistency of product data while supporting all aspects of a program as directed by the program Senior Configuration Manager. This role provides on-demand support to various engineering and program management teams as a support for as-builts, SDRL deliveries and other tasking as required.
