Metra in Chicago seeks a Configuration Management Analyst to support the positive train control program and CM processes across change requests, configuration, defects and release management. You will track, document, and ensure CM data is accurate in the PLM system and related tools.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in CS or STEM, at least three years’ CM experience, familiarity with CM standards and PLM tools such as Bentley ProjectWise or AssetWise, plus strong written and verbal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or STEM field.
• Three years of experience in configuration or change management.
• Knowledge of CM processes including configuration, change, defect, and release management.
• Familiarity with CM planning and controls and relevant standards.

Responsabilités

• Provide Level 1/2 troubleshooting for PLM and CM activities.
• Track, document, and complete change requests; maintain CM data accurately.
• Develop CM policies, procedures, and workflows for changes and releases.
• Attend/lead department and project meetings and coordinate action items.
• Support CM tool usage and ensure resources are up to date.
