Job summary

Southeastern-Comp-Consultants-Inc seeks a Configuration Management Analyst II to provide CM support to a Combat System program. This on-site role in Dahlgren, VA entails planning, identification, control, and audits of CM data, with attendance at program reviews and meetings.

Responsibilities include preparing correspondence and reports, maintaining CM processes and SOPs, and managing hardware/software/documentation changes. A Secret clearance and 3–5 years CM experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• US citizenship or permanent residency preferred.
• Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Prior CM/Asset Management experience (3–5 years) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform configuration management and data management functions: planning, identification, status accounting, control and audits.
• Attend Baseline, Working Groups and Integrated Program Reviews; prepare briefs and status reports.
• Represent CM in program meetings and relay CM impacts for issue resolution.

Overview:SCCI is looking for a Configuration Management Analyst II to join our team! In this position, you will provide Configuration Management (CM) support to a Combat System program. This position is available for immediate hire. It is an on-site position located in Dahlgren, VA and provides support to the Naval Surface Warfare Center.SCCI offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package including Health, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability benefits, 401k with Company Match, time off consisting of 2 weeks of paid vacation, 48 hours of sick/personal leave, and 11 paid Holidays.Responsibilities include:Perform configuration management / data management functions: planning, configuration identification, status accounting, configuration control and audits, data managementAttend and participate in various Baseline (B/L), Working Groups, and Integrated Program Reviews meetings and brief documentation production, scheduling, and delivery status at Program Office and Certification Panel meetingsPrepare correspondence, plans, and reports for assigned program(s) and customer(s)Represent the CM team at program meetings ensuring that CM concerns are communicated and impacts to CM are brought back for issue resolutionAssist in the development and maintenance of CM processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Perform equipment audits to the Lowest Replaceable Unit (LRU) for various supporting programs and distribute audit reportsPrepare software delivery receipts utilizing appropriate databaseManage software release packages for distributionProcess incoming software for distribution and maintain accurate software configuration recordsManage and document receipt, movement and shipping of all Hardware, software and documentationProcess Site Change Implementation Notices (SCIN’s) utilizing current ticketing system and audit databasePerform weekly facility walkthroughs, documenting all unreported changes to labs and equipmentEssential Skills and Experience:Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an active Secret Security ClearanceHigh school diplomaThree (3) - Five (5) years of Configuration Management or Asset Management experienceComprehensive knowledge of principles, methods, and techniques used in configuration management supportDemonstrated proficiency with MS Office tools, primarily MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointAbility to multi-task in a fast paced environmentAbility to effectively communicate verbally and in formal reports across all organizational levels preferredSCCI is committed to providing a comprehensive and competitive benefits package to meet the needs of Employees and their families.
