Job summary

SAIC in North Charleston, SC, seeks a Configuration Analyst to support NIWC LANT and USCYBERCOM programs. You will work with the CM Lead to establish and maintain configuration management for hardware, software, docs, media, and parts, ensuring system alignment with DoD standards.

The role requires knowledge of ECPs, RFDs, NORs, FCAs, PCAs, and data management in systems like DITPR, with TS/SCI clearance active. BS degree with 5 years experience (or 4 years for degreed candidates) is required.

Qualifications

• BS degree and five (5) years experience; Four (4) years experience can be considered in lieu of degree
• Understanding basic configuration management principles and practices
• Skilled with CM tools for status accounting and baseline management
• Experience in CM plans, baselines, and change control processes for complex hardware and software systems
• Show knowledge of the engineering change process, including ECPs, RFDs, and NORs
• Experience in conducting and documenting FCAs and PCAs
• Familiarity with DoD data management systems such as DITPR

Responsibilities

• Assist the Configuration Management Lead in planning, conducting, and documenting Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs) and Physical Configuration Audits (PCA) to ensure system compliance and accuracy
• Manage and maintain hardware and software configuration data using government systems, such as the DoD IT Portfolio Repository (DITPR)
