Job description

Configuration Management Analyst (25-127) E4 / COS-M

Apex Systems is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst to support a government client in Colorado Springs, CO.

Responsibilities

  • Define and establish the Configuration and Data Management infrastructure aligned with the five pillars of CM.
  • Perform software builds, harvesting, and releases.
  • Establish change orders, prepare change authorizations, and document changes by company and subcontractor personnel.
  • Prepare reports on the impact of changes on the overall product.
  • Review and analyze engineering change data, coordinating with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and data control teams.
  • Ensure compliance with configuration management policies through change accounting reviews.
  • Implement customer requirements effectively.
  • Generate metrics and status reports.
  • Administer program board meetings.
  • Maintain hardware/software information in the asset management system.
  • Manage the contract media library.
  • Create and maintain program plans and procedures.
  • Must Haves

    • 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree or 3+ years with a Master's degree.
    • Extensive knowledge of Hardware/Software Configuration Management, Engineering, and Data Management. Skills include: Configuration/Data Management, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, GitLab, Maven, Nexus, and familiarity with DoD security regulations.
