Insight Global is seeking an MRB Configuration & Data Coordinator to support a leading aerospace manufacturing client. This individual will serve as the focal point for configuration control, technical documentation management, and data integrity within the Material Review Board (MRB) organization. The role will work closely with MRB Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Quality, and Production teams to ensure accurate tracking, maintenance, and release of engineering data supporting non-conformance dispositions and aircraft production activities.
The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, comfortable working with large datasets and engineering documentation, and understands the importance of configuration management within a regulated aerospace manufacturing environment. This position plays a critical role in maintaining traceability, supporting compliance requirements, and enabling efficient execution of MRB workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Data Management, Business Operations, or a related technical field
- 3-6 years of experience in configuration management, engineering data management, technical documentation, product lifecycle management (PLM), or related support functions
- Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, quality, or production organizations
- Experience reviewing and maintaining technical records, engineering changes, and product configuration data
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and ability to analyze, organize, and validate large datasets
- Understanding of document control processes and revision management
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain data accuracy in fast-paced environments
- U.S. Person eligible to complete Boeing PI Training
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting MRB, Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Configuration Management teams
- Experience working with engineering drawings, specifications, metadata, and technical records
- Familiarity with Boeing production systems, engineering release processes, and change management workflows
- Experience with PDM, PLM, MES, SAP, CAPP, IVT, ENOVIA, Teamcenter, Windchill, or similar systems
- Understanding of aerospace configuration management principles and traceability requirements
- Strong organizational, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Maintain and validate configuration data associated with MRB activities and non-conformance records
- Review engineering documentation for completeness, accuracy, and revision compliance
- Coordinate updates to technical records, metadata, and product configuration information
- Support engineers with document preparation, record management, and workflow tracking
- Ensure traceability between engineering dispositions, manufacturing records, and quality documentation
- Create, update, and maintain reports tracking MRB activity, aging metrics, and documentation status
- Identify discrepancies within engineering data and coordinate corrective actions with stakeholders
- Interface with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment of configuration records
- Support audits and compliance reviews by providing accurate documentation and historical records
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives focused on data accuracy, process efficiency, and document control
