Job summary

  • Develop and maintain CM processes aligned with AS9100 and EIA-649 standards.
  • Own administration of SolidWorks PDM Professional and CAD data integrity.

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Configuration Management Engineer to establish and lead the company’s configuration management (CM) framework and engineering process infrastructure. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role responsible for building scalable systems, driving configuration discipline, and ensuring product data integrity across a growing Department of Defense (DoD) contractor environment.

This individual will serve as the primary Configuration Management authority, responsible for developing and implementing structured processes that support engineering, manufacturing, and program execution. The ideal candidate is a builder and process architect—someone who thrives in ambiguous environments and can design, implement, and scale practical solutions that enable growth and compliance.

Essential Job Functions:

Required Qualifications:

Preferred Requirements:

Experience as a primary or sole CM leader in a growing organizationExperience supporting AS9100 certification effortsFamiliarity with:Enterprise PLM systemsSoftware configuration management tools (e.g., SVN or similar)ERP/MRP systems and serialized inventory trackingExperience supporting software and firmware configuration managementExperience in high‑growth or fast‑paced engineering environmentsActive security clearance or ability to obtain one
