Job Title: Configuration and Deployment Technician

Location: Onsite in Phoenix, AZ

Employment Type: Long Term Contract

Contract Length: Contract based 24+ Months

Job Overview:

This role is 100% onsite. The Configuration & Deployment Tech supports all aspects of the IT Hardware Lifecycle for the Agency. Responsibilities include administrative duties in IT procurement, lifecycle management, inventory management, hardware configuration, deployment, and disposal following standards. The role involves maintaining processes, policies, and systems for effective IT asset management, assisting with vendor quotes, equipment configuration, deployment, and end-of-life processing.

Qualifications & Education Requirements
  • 1-3 years in IT asset lifecycle management best practices
  • 1-3 years in IT service level monitoring and compliance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • 1-3 years experience with IT asset management products and discovery tools
  • Experience with ServiceNow HAM
  • Experience facilitating hardware purchases
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in requirements gathering, procurement regulations, hardware troubleshooting, network troubleshooting, and industry standards
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Windows 10 & 11, MS System Center Configuration Manager
  • In-person customer service experience
  • Minimum 7 years in a related IT field
  • Valid AZ driver’s license with good record
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
