Base pay range

$82,910.00/yr - $118,560.00/yr

This is an estimate; actual pay may vary based on factors like geography, experience, and education. The position is remote eligible; candidates must reside in California.

What You Will Be Doing

The role involves managing system configurations, health plan implementations, and conversions. Responsibilities include interpreting guidelines, coding, updating benefit plans, provider setup, fee schedules, and system tables. The Senior Configuration Analyst elicits complex requirements, mentors team members, analyzes data, and leads communication efforts. The role requires working with diverse professionals and mentoring others.

Essential Functions

• Work with leadership to analyze and redesign business processes.
• Mentor team members and provide knowledge exchange.
• Create documentation and training materials.
• Develop macros and perform data analysis.
• Lead projects using PMBOK processes.
• Analyze and document business environments.
• Lead meetings and facilitate Agile processes.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Recommend process improvements and automation.
• Lead technical and business discussions.
• Perform Scrum Master duties and lead small projects.
• Maintain effective relationships across teams.
• Deep understanding of healthcare data standards and SQL.
• Oversee system configuration changes and testing.
• Understand medical coding systems.
• Develop process checklists and documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field with 6+ years of experience, or 10+ years healthcare experience.
• Experience with claims operations, benefit/configuration, and medical coding.
• Expertise in QNXT, JIVA, and SQL.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
