Job summary

Acro Service Corp in Elkton, MD seeks an onsite Configuration Analyst 1 to support the Configuration Management department, with standard hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The role focuses on coordinating project documentation and ensuring contract requirements are met.

Responsibilities include reviewing contracts, analyzing design changes, establishing change orders, and coordinating with engineering, quality, and manufacturing to manage BOMs, ECNs/ECRs, and change data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with ERP/PLM/MES systems supporting configuration management.
• Familiarity with BOMs, part numbers and routings; change control concepts.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word for tracking configuration data.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates preparation of project documentation to ensure customer contract requirements are met.
• Reviews contract to determine documentation required for each phase, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.
• Analyzes proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system; coordinates modification records.
• Establishes change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor.
• Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and data control activities.
