Job summary

Northrop Grumman's Space Sector in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Configuration Analyst - Level 1 to plan and coordinate project documentation, assess proposed design changes, and ensure customer contract requirements are met. You will establish change orders, prepare authorization and documentation, review released data, and coordinate with engineering, quality, manufacturing and data control activities.

This role follows a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off and requires a bachelor’s degree

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 0 years of professional experience.
• Experience with parts management, drawing release/change management, processing Bills of Materials.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Pro.
• Ability to obtain U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance.
• Understanding and application of CDM (EIA-649) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate modification records for configuration/change management of parts, drawings and assemblies.
• Establish change orders and prepare change authorization and documentation.
• Ensure release documentation meets quality standards and contractual marking requirements.
• Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinate changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and data control activities.
• Analyze proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system.
