Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Chandler, AZ, seeks a Configuration Analyst – Level 2 to manage configuration data and coordinate change activities across engineering and manufacturing. The role includes establishing change orders, ensuring release quality, and interfacing with multiple teams.

Expect a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off. Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience or a Master’s degree with 0 years, and the ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of professional experience OR Master’s degree with 0 years of professional experience.
• Microsoft Office and Adobe Pro proficiency.
• Must have ability to obtain U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance.
• Understanding and application of CDM (EIA-649) five pillars in CM activities.
• Soft skills: attention to detail, communication, problem solving and judgement, teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate modification records for configuration / change management of parts, drawings and assemblies.
• Establish change orders and prepare change authorization and documentation.
• Ensure release documentation meets quality standards and contractual marking requirements.
• Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinate changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and data control.
• Analyze proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system.
