Flik Hospitality Group in Fairfax, VA is hiring a Conference Services Attendant for a full-time role at the Inova Conference Center. The position requires prior experience and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with duties including setting up conference rooms, managing materials, and providing exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities include ensuring rooms are prepared, coordinating with staff and clients, handling AV basics, and maintaining equipment and supplies.

Formación

• Two years of customer service or houseman/porter experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Moves and places tables, chairs, and supply linens for each event in the conference center.
• Sets up items not included in the room (flipcharts, whiteboard, screens, etc.).
• Assists with conference room readiness and supplies (pens, pads, handouts, event packages).
• Refreshes rooms between meetings.
• Provides prompt and detailed service as scheduled by management or by request.
• Maintains phone and email communication with clients and staff.
• Assists clients and visitors throughout the building and escorts to conference rooms.
• Coordinates with colleagues and partners to share updated information.
• Offers room-setup recommendations and collaborates on solutions for setups.
• Performs weekly site inspections and notifies departments for service needs.
• Assists with basic audio-visual equipment as needed.
• Maintains inventory of supplies and notifies when restocking is needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
