Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont is seeking an events professional to serve as the primary liaison between clients and venue operations, overseeing planning and execution of meetings, conferences, and special events.
You will coordinate logistics, develop BEOs, timelines, and diagrams, and collaborate with Sales, Facilities, IT, Security, Operations, and vendors to ensure seamless events and post-event follow-ups. Local travel may be required.
Serves as primary liaison between clients and venue operations teams, overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of meetings, conferences, and special events.
Associate degree (A.S.) in Food Service or Hospitality or related field and at least two years’ experience in managing company food and beverage catering; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid Driver's License (Class C), car insurance and reliable automobile required.
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly (more than 2/3 of the day) required to stand/walk throughout the space. The team member frequently (1/3 to 2/3 of the day) is required to use hands to finger, handle, feel, talk, and hear. The team member is occasionally (less than 1/3 of the day) required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and push/pull 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Occasional local travel is required.
