Job summary

FLIK is hiring for a Conference Services Attendant at the Inova Conference Center in Fairfax, VA. This full-time role requires customer service experience and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

You will set up rooms, manage materials, and coordinate with teams to ensure events run smoothly. The position offers on-site work with opportunities to work across multiple events, handling room setups, AV support, and client communication.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in hospitality or similar role.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Move and arrange tables, chairs, and linens for each event.
• Set up flipcharts, whiteboards, and screens as needed.
• Ensure conference rooms are ready with required materials.
• Provide prompt service as scheduled or on request.
• Maintain phone and email communication with clients and teams.
• Assist clients and guests with directions and escort to rooms.
• Coordinate with colleagues and service partners on updates.
• Advise on room setups and assist with unique challenges.
• Conduct weekly site inspections of meeting rooms.
• Assist with basic audio-visual equipment and inventory management.
