  • We are hiring immediately for full-time CONFERENCE SERVICES ATTENDANT positions.
  • Location: Santa Rosa Westover Hills - 11212 State Highway 151, San Antonio, TX 78251. Note: online applications accepted only.
  • Schedule: Full-time schedule. Hours and days may vary; more details upon interview.
  • Requirement: Previous catering/banquet experience required.
  • Pay Range: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Ensures that all meeting rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest professional standards and meet all meeting requirements prior to start times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Set up tables, chairs, linens, and supplies for events in the conference center.
  2. Prepare and supply additional items such as flipcharts, whiteboards, and screens.
  3. Ensure conference rooms are equipped with necessary materials (pens, pads, handouts, etc.).
  4. Refresh rooms between meetings.
  5. Provide prompt, detailed service as scheduled or upon request.
  6. Maintain communication with clients, guests, and team members via phone and email.
  7. Assist visitors and clients, providing directions and escorts to conference rooms.
  8. Coordinate with colleagues and service partners to share updated information.
  9. Recommend room setups and collaborate on solutions for setup challenges.
  10. Conduct weekly inspections of meeting rooms and coordinate maintenance as needed.
  11. Assist with basic audio-visual equipment as required.
  12. Maintain inventory of supplies and notify supervisors when replenishments are needed.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous customer service or houseman/porter experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
