Job summary

The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) seeks an Operations Manager for conference and convention-center environments in Washington, DC. You will lead end-to-end planning for major conferences, manage Expo logistics, General Session production, and on-site execution with venues, vendors, and internal teams.

Hybrid schedule with in-office 3 days per week. Compensation ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of progressively responsible experience in conference and event operations.
• Experience managing complex, large-scale event environments with show-floor operations and activations.
• Proven ability to manage vendor relationships, RFP processes, budgets and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational planning and onsite execution for NAR's major conference environments.
• Develop, maintain and distribute operational specifications for space, room sets and service needs.
• Coordinate conference floor plans, attendee flow and environmental design with venues and stakeholders.
• Lead attendee-facing activations and the NXT FEST Welcome Event for ~7,000 attendees, including guest flow and safety.
