Job summary

American Clean Power Association (ACP) is offering a Conference & Events Internship from January through June 2027, based at ACP’s Washington, DC headquarters with a hybrid work schedule. The paid internship supports the planning and execution of CLEANPOWER and other spring conferences, providing hands-on experience in event operations.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate or graduate student, or recent graduate, with an interest in event management, hospitality, marketing, communications, business, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and coordination of ACP conferences, meetings, and events.
• Assist with program and content planning, including speaker coordination, scheduling, and materials preparation.
• Logistics support with organizing pre‑event shipments, sponsorship fulfillment coordination with vendors, tracking RSVPs, editing onsite materials; pre‑event and onsite coordination with hotel and convention center partners.
• Maintain attendee lists, session details, and internal tracking materials.
• Support the use of event technology platforms, including registration systems and speaker management software.
