Summary:
The Conference Center Manager oversees the operation of the Temple University Center City (TUCC) Conference Center. The manager collaborates extensively with external groups to develop new business, including the City of Philadelphia, area corporations, non-profit organizations, and small businesses. Responsibilities include scheduling all credit classes at TUCC, supporting department retreats, grant-funded conferences, alumni groups, and special events in coordination with Temple schools and colleges. The role involves marketing, providing excellent customer service, and representing TUCC at trade organizations such as Meeting Professionals International and the Convention Center and Visitors Bureau. The manager is jointly responsible for meeting revenue targets set annually by the TUCC Director to maintain high standards of facility maintenance and technology upgrades.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and at least three (3) years of directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
