The Manager of the Conference Center manages the Temple University Center City (TUCC) Conference Center operation. The Manager works extensively with external groups to develop new business. These groups include the City of Philadelphia, area corporations, non-profit organizations, and small businesses. The Manager schedules all credit classes at TUCC and also works with Temple schools and colleges to support department retreats, grant-funded conferences, alumni groups, and special events, which includes marketing as well as providing superior customer service. The Manager represents Temple University Center City with trade organizations such as Meeting Professionals International and the Convention Center and Visitors Bureau, and is jointly responsible for meeting revenue targets set each year for the conference center operation by the TUCC Director to sustain a high level of maintenance and repairs to technology.
Bachelor's degree and at least three (3) years of directly related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
This position is onsite.
