Job summary

Salt Lake Community College seeks an experienced event coordinator to oversee the Miller Conference Center's scheduling, design, and execution of 160+ events monthly. You will liaise with clients, catering, AV vendors, and campus staff to ensure flawless on-site execution and satisfaction.

Responsibilities include managing contracts, invoicing, and payment processing, while training new staff and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; trade-off 1:1 with experience considered.
• 1–4 years of related full-time office and customer service experience.
• Trade-off between education and experience may apply on a 1:1 basis.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate all events at the Miller Conference Center, including diverse functions.
• Manage event office operations, respond to inquiries, and process reservations.
• Enter event and payment data into 25Live and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare and distribute contracts, invoices, and logistics details; verify insurance coverage.
• Oversee invoicing, deposits, aging reports, and refunds; handle refunds when needed.
• Train new Event Consultants and assist in training Host staff on policies and workflows.
