Dandelion Chocolate is seeking a Chocolatier for our 16th Street Factory in San Francisco. This in-person, part-time role supports the confections team by preparing batches, casting molds, and packaging final products.

You will taste for quality, help with unmolding, and maintain a clean, orderly workspace. Ideal candidates have kitchen or bakery experience, a strong attention to detail, and a readiness to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous bakery, kitchen, or confections experience preferred.
• Demonstrated attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to handle messy, industrial settings.
• Ability to bend, stoop, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Production: learn and perform all steps of confections production, be an independent team member.
• Quality: taste and evaluate confections for flavor and quality; maintain high standards.
• Safety: follow machinery, food safety, and quality procedures.
• Maintenance: clean and maintain the production area and equipment.
• Goals: hit daily production goals to meet product demands.
• Packaging: pack confections neatly for sale and manage unboxing experience.
• Other tasks as necessary.
