Job summary

Wolfgang Confectioners in Camp Hill, PA is seeking EXPERIENCED Machine Operators to join our confectionery manufacturing team. This role focuses on the technical packing or manufacturing operation of quality confections, operating candy-making and packaging equipment, and following detailed company procedures.

Applicants should be able to monitor production, perform quality checks, maintain lot traceability, and work collaboratively with Supervisors and Leads.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate.
• Production/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret production documents.
• Teamwork and dependability are essential.
• Ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production and tally with Supervisor.
• Operate candy-making and packaging equipment.
• Make machine adjustments according to specifications.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately and on time.
• Perform routine quality checks (metal detection, weight/ratio, packaging).
• Ensure lot traceability and assist inventory control.
• Communicate clearly with team, Supervisors, and Leads.
• Oversee sanitation duties and clean area and machines at shift end.
• Collaborate with coworkers to maximize efficiency and flexibility.
• Contribute ideas to improve safety, efficiency, and operations.
• Follow safety policies and food safety guidelines.
