Job summary

Wolfgang Confectioners is seeking a Material Handler for our Camp Hill facility. You will operate forklifts to move packaging, raw materials, and finished goods from the warehouse and production lines. This full-time, non-exempt role requires standing 8 to 12 hours and ability to lift 25–50 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or Equivalent is desired.
• Fundamental knowledge to follow directions.
• Production/Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the documents.
• Ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints.

Responsibilities

• Operate PITs (Powered Industrial Trucks) to move packaging, raw materials, and finished goods.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials on trailers and from production lines.
• Unload inbound chocolate tankers and stack/sort boxes.
• Wrap pallets for loading and stage finished goods.
• Perform general warehouse housekeeping duties.
• Maintain safety by using required PPE and following company standards.

Wolfgang Confectioners currently has an opening for a Material Handler at our Camp Hill facility to Be Wolfgang.

• Operates various PIT’s (Powered Industrial Trucks) to move packaging, raw materials, and finished goods from the warehouse and the Production Lines.
• Assists with loading and unloading of materials and finished goods on trailers.
• Empties cardboard balers.
• Unloads inbound chocolate tankers.
• Stack and sort boxes.
• Wrap pallets of finished goods and stage for loading.
• General warehouse housekeeping duties.
• Standing 8 to 12 hours per day.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 25-50lbs. as needed.
• Ability to see and read information in print form and/or electronically.

Person Protective Equipment required:

• Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment
• Hearing Protection when required
• Gloves when required

• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Must demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality of information to Company and Federal standards.
• Must be able to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and be able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
